New Blog!

So I'm finally joining the blogging bandwagon! I think it's best to start off with a little about myself. I realized at an early age (six to be exact) that I wanted to be a photographer. At the time it didn't matter what kind, just that I get to use a camera for the rest of my life. As I got older I bounced from sport's photographer (I played softball for 13 years), to nature photographer (National Geographic!), to fashion photographer, to fine art photographer and everything in between. I recently graduated with my Bachelor's in photography from the University of Central Florida and the time has come to decide what type of photography I'm going to do.

I've been doing weddings as a side job throughout college to earn some extra money and found that I really enjoy them. Every wedding is unique, the people are unique, I have to stay on my toes, and at every event the air is charged with emotions that I'm poised to catch with my camera. So I'm off on my next life's journey, starting and maintaining my own business. It scary and exciting and I can't wait to see where I am a year from now! Right now I'm an Orlando wedding photographer, and that's a good feeling.
